Epilepsy is a brain disorder, in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures or periods of unusual behaviour, sensations, and sometimes loss of awareness.
Epilepsy symptoms can vary widely:
- Stare blankly for a few seconds during a seizure;
- Convulsions or shaking of all body;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Stiffness of muscles;
- Loss of muscles control;
- Convulsions at the ends of the hands/feet
