Epilepsy is a brain disorder, in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures or periods of unusual behaviour, sensations, and sometimes loss of awareness.
Epilepsy symptoms can vary widely:

  • Stare blankly for a few seconds during a seizure;
  • Convulsions or shaking of all body;
  • Loss of consciousness; 
  • Stiffness of muscles;
  • Loss of muscles control;
  • Convulsions at the ends of the hands/feet
